Who Thinks They’re an Artist? How to Overcome Self-Doubt and Pursue Your Passion

Do you remember when you were a kid and you loved to draw, paint, or create anything with your hands? Do you remember how proud you felt when you showed your art to your parents, teachers, or friends? Do you remember how much joy and satisfaction you got from expressing yourself through art?

If you do, then you are an artist. You have always been an artist. And you can still be an artist.

The Problem: Losing Your Confidence and Identity as an Artist

Unfortunately, many of us lose our confidence and identity as artists as we grow older. We start to listen to the voices of doubt, criticism, and fear that tell us we are not good enough, talented enough, or worthy enough to be artists. We start to compare ourselves to others and feel inadequate. We start to think that art is not a serious or practical pursuit. We start to think that art is not for us.

This is a common problem that affects many people who have a passion for art. In elementary school, if you ask the children who wants to be an artist, 100% of them will raise their hands. By middle school, it’s about 30%. And by high school, it’s about 2%. Think they can be an artist.

What happened to the other 98%? Did they lose their creativity, their imagination, their skill, or their love for art? No, they didn’t. They just lost their belief in themselves as artists.

The Solution: Reclaiming Your Confidence and Identity as an Artist

So, how can you reclaim your confidence and identity as an artist? How can you overcome the self-doubt and pursue your passion for art? How can you rediscover the joy and satisfaction of expressing yourself through art?

The answer is simple: You just have to do it. You have to make the choice to do it. You have to take action and do it.

You have to say to yourself: It’s my time. It’s my time to be an artist. It’s my time to do what I love. It’s my time to follow my heart.

But, of course, saying it is not enough. You have to do it. You have to take the steps to make it happen. You have to find the resources, the tools, the guidance, and the support that you need to do it.

That’s where I come in. I’m here to help you. I’m here to help you be an artist.

How I Can Help You: My Story and My Mission

I’m an artist and a teacher. I’ve been teaching art for over 30 years. I’ve helped thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds to learn, improve, and enjoy art. I’ve seen the transformation that art can bring to people’s lives. I’ve seen the happiness, the fulfillment, and the empowerment that art can give to people.

But I’ve also seen the challenges, the struggles, and the frustrations that people face when they try to pursue art. I’ve seen the obstacles, the barriers, and the excuses that people use to stop themselves from doing art. I’ve seen the fear, the doubt, and the insecurity that people feel when they do art.

And I’ve been there myself. I know what it’s like to want to do art, but not know how to do it. I know what it’s like to do art, but not be satisfied with it. I know what it’s like to do art, but not be recognized for it.

I’ve been through the ups and downs of being an artist. I’ve been through the trials and errors of learning art. I’ve been through the successes and failures of teaching art.

And I’ve learned a lot from my experiences. I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to art. I’ve learned what helps and what hinders when it comes to art. I’ve learned what motivates and what discourages when it comes to art.

And I’ve decided to share what I’ve learned with you. I’ve decided to dedicate my life to helping you be an artist. I’ve decided to use my skills, my knowledge, and my passion to help you achieve your goals, your dreams, and your potential as an artist.
